Governance
The framework is shaped and challenged by a panel of specialists.
A product that measures inclusion should be able to show how its own method is checked. This page sets out who reviews it, what they can change, and what is written down.
The model
Nothing about the methodology changes on one person's judgement
Includology's Steering Group provides challenge to how we measure. It brings together expertise across organisational psychology, accessibility and inclusive practice, AI ethics, and frontline social work, so the method is tested by people who work with these questions in the real world.
Members have the authority to challenge and shape the methodology: they review it before it is used, and they can require changes to the lenses, the question set, or how results are scored. Review before use, two signatures on any change, and a written record of the reasoning apply from the first cohort onwards.
Panel review
The framework, question set, and scoring approach are reviewed by the Steering Group before they are used with organisations. Review happens on the method itself, not on individual organisations' results.
Two-person countersignature
A methodology change takes two named signatories. Both are named on the record. That includes changes to the lenses, the question set, and how scores are derived.
Recorded decisions
Reviews and changes are documented, so the method stays traceable over time. If the method changes, the reasoning and the signatories are recorded.
Scope of oversight
What the Steering Group has a say over
- The six lenses and what each one is understood to measure.
- The question set and how employee contributions are structured.
- How results are scored and how root causes are attributed.
- Changes to any of the above, once they are in use.
What it does not touch
- Individual organisations' results, which the panel is not given access to.
- Identifiable employee responses. Contributions are anonymised and grouped, never attributed.
- Commercial terms and founding cohort places, which sit with Includology.
The same discipline in the product
Recorded reasoning is how the Adjustment Log works too.
Measured openly, challenged properly.
Founding cohort places are open now. The first five organisations join free.
